FURIA bounce back against ex-Anonymo

The Brazilians have a Metizport rematch

FURIA have quickly recovered from their loss against Metizport as they comfortably defeated ex-Anonymo in Group B elimination match. The Brazilians have now set themselves up for a rematch against the Swedes as they look to progress to the playoffs later today.

In an entirely BO1 group stage, FURIA has now been able to gain some momentum after a slow start.

During the match on Nuke against the Polish squad, FURIA immediately responded to their poor showing on Ancient by dominating right out of the gate. The Brazilians, on their CT-side, would win the pistol and secure six rounds before ex-Anonymo could even respond.

While the Poles eventually got a few back, they found themselves down 8-4 to start the second half.

Despite making it close to start off the second half, ex-Anonymo could not find their groove as FURIA came roaring back to take charge and win the match 13-10.

FURIA will not be playing against Metizport in a final BO1 to determine if they will get the final playoff spot in the closed qualifier.
