Infinity replace BRUNO with chuti
Dust2.us has learned that Infinity have replaced player Bruno "BRUNO" Hernandez with Mexican player Fernando "chuti" Luis Planchart.
The loss of BRUNO comes just two months after the veteran Peruvian player linked up with the team, joining the lineup alongside Camilo "points" Londoño as replacements for Jesús "sam_A" Taboada and Santiago "Daveys" Galvis. In their sole North American outing during this time, Infinity were eliminated by Hc in ESEA's inaugural cash cup.
While Andrés "spamzzy1" Correa was unable to discuss with Dust2.us the private reasons for BRUNO's departure, he said he is excited to be playing alongside chuti who he believes is a strong pickup. Alongside his strength as a player, chuti has a far better ping to North American servers than his South American colleagues, averaging 50ms while the Colombians and Peruvians average 70-200ms depending on the server. spamzzy1 also told Dust2.us that Infinity plan on moving to Mexico sometime in the future which will hopefully give them better ping while playing in North American competitions.
The addition of chuti also marks the player's return to a higher level of competition after spending a portion of Season 34 playing in Open alongside the likes of Jose "SecretAgent" Fernandez and Nolan "Temperature" Pepper.
With this change, Infinity are now:
- Andrés "spamzzy1" Correa
- Francisco "k1Nky" Alvarez
- Joel "tor1towOw" Rios Manrique
- Camilo "points" Londoño
- Fernando "chuti" Luis Planchart
- Aldair "alone" Torres (Coach)
Infinity won their opening match in ESEA Advanced Season 35 against Random Twitter Org and are set to face off against Big Chillin on September 6th at 9PM EDT.
