bokum bops out of Warriors International
Derek "Hendy" Hendrixson has announced that Warriors International are in search of a fifth player after parting ways with Daniel "bokumbop" Yoo.
In his tweet, Hendy shed few details regarding the departure of bokumbop, going so far as to say it was a mutual decision and that they had parted ways amicably. Dust2.us has reached out to members of the team for comment, but did not hear back as of the publication of this article. Warriors International are now on the hunt for a new player to compete with, and will have plenty of time to finalize a replacement as the player break is now underway and leagues will take a break for the next month.
bokumbop has been a part of the Warriors roster since Advanced Season 33, when he helped them earn a spot in MDL through Relegation under the Trivium banner. It was the debut MDL season for a majority of the roster, save Michael "Swisher" Schmid, with the team managing to hold on to their spot for Season 35 with an 8-9 record. Warriors also competed in WINNERS League Season 4 Invite, where they managed only a single win over Infinity in the Swiss group stage before being eliminated.
Following bokumbop's departure, Warriors International are left with:
- Brett "hyper" Rhein
- Derek "Hendy" Hendrixson
- Walker "walker" Harris
- Michael "Swisher" Schmid
- Donald "voo" Parkhurst (Coach)
- Colin "Koi" Thor (Assistant Coach/Analyst)
During MDL Season 34, bokumbop averaged a 1.00 rating across sixteen maps, tied with teammate Walker "walker" Harris and sitting just below Swisher at 1.04. He has announced his search for a team on Twitter, mentioning that he is open to trying any role.
