Big Frames part ways with Welshy and castro; castro moves on to Polar Ace
Big Frames will be searching for two to round out their roster after the departures of Liam "Welshy" Newhouse and Wayne "castro" Einarsson. The squad is currently 4-5 in ESEA MDL Season 34.
castro was Big Frames' top performer so far in ESEA MDL Season 34, boasting a 1.47 rating over the course of eight maps. Welshy on the other hand has only managed a 0.99 rating over that same span. As a result of their incomplete roster Big Frames has had to forfeit their most recent MDL match against Mythic this past Wednesday as well as their WINNERS League match against Keep the Comms Up.
With the departures, Big Frames' roster is now:
- Nolan "bite" Hunstad
- Andy "devastation" Parr
- Cedric "Melio" Perrault
Fortunately for Big Frames, they have no matches scheduled this week in MDL, giving them time to find two new members ahead of their match against New England Whalers on June 2nd. It is worth noting though that Ryan "Church" Church and Jimmy "Nurfed" McFadden are paid up for this season and are eligible to play if needed and have both done so this season.
Speaking of castro, he has already found his way to a new MDL roster, joining Polar Ace yesterday. He debuted with the team last night in Mythic Invite League against Rugratz in place of Dennison "fdeN" Fong, who will be stepping down from the roster and retiring from CS:GO for personal reasons.
Polar Ace's pack is now made up of:
- Tony "w0w" Zachary
- Malick "dangle" Abid
- Shawn "Magowi" O'Malley
- Austin "RenZ" Dickman
- Wayne "castro" Einarsson
Polar Ace are currently 4-6 in MDL and their next match is set to be against AA on June 2nd at 8 PM EDT.
