Team list set for eFire Master League Season 2
Big Chillin and Trivium have completed the team list for eFire Master Master League Season 2 after defeating Infinity and Faint, respectively.
Big Chillin got off to a strong start as they managed to wrestle Infinity's map pick, Overpass, away from them in overtime despite a server high 38 kills by Jesus "sam_A" Taboada.
Infinity were able to steal back Mirage, though it required overtime as well. Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa led the way with 36 frags, one of three Infinity players with at least 30 in the 19-16 victory to bring the series back to an even 1-1.
By the time Inferno rolled around, Nick "squidah" McDonald and Big Chillin had had enough of overtimes, as they battered Infinity 16-6 to secure a spot in the main event.
Faint bullied Trivium on their map pick of Mirage, jumping out to a quick 1-0 series lead with a 16-6 victory. Anthony "agony" Masterton led the way with 24 kills in a convincing win for Faint.
agony dropped off after the first map, and Danny "cxzi" Strcelcyzk had to do the heavy lifting in the final two maps of the series. He led all players with 51 kills across those two maps, but it was Daniel "bokumbop" Yoo and Trivium that would prevail in the end, pulling off a reverse sweep with a 16-13 Inferno victory and a 16-12 decider win on Train.
With the participating teams finalized, the initial groups and matchups for eFire Master League Season 2 will be:
