Liquid pull out of Thunderpick World Championship 2023
As first reported by Dust2.us, Liquid have pulled out of the Thunderpick World Championship 2023, being replaced by Ukrainian squad Monte. Liquid's decision to skip the online European event comes as the team are poised to completely overhaul their roster heading into Counter-Strike 2 with star acquisitions.
Likewise, Liquid are currently running with four players officially on their books, with the benching of Josh "oSee" Ohm and Robert "Patsi" Isyanov also reportedly on the cards. The loss of oSee and Keith "NAF" Markovic at Thunderpick's $500k hurts the NA representation at the event, however, NA is still well represented, with Complexity, M80, Wildcard, and Nouns all set to compete against a slew of European teams.
Thunderpick World Championship 2023 is set to start on October 27th.
