Top 3 highlights from Complexity's semifinal sweep over G2
Complexity have just secured a grand final spot at IEM Sydney after trouncing G2 in two maps despite losing to that very team earlier this tournament. Arena buff anyone? During this game, everyone on Complexity showed up in spades, each contributing to the monumental win in their own way. But, some impact looks a lot more impressive on the stream. Here are the top highlights from Complexity's win over G2.
#3 Complexity using CS2 mechanics to their full advantage
As Complexity embarked on their T-side escapade against G2's Anubis defense, they showed off how to use CS2's newest mechanic, temporarily blowing up a smoke grenade, to their full advantage. With a set piece through mid, they easily took control and even got a kill with further impeccable utility usage.
#2 floppy's frantic 1v2
As G2 and Complexity were trading round-for-round on Anubis, an extended A-site take from G2 left a late-round 3v3 to decide the round. With both teams' money on the line and the clock winding down, floppy, the original A defender, was left last alive to clutch it out for the NA squad.
#1 JT the deagle demon
G2 lost their CT-pistol on Anubis, acquiescing the first few rounds of the half. Once they were able to get a buy with all the bells and whistles, they were a formidable foe for Complexity, racking up three in a row to put Complexity on a force buy. If Complexity lost this round, maybe we would've seen a third map. Thankfully we don't live in that world.
