Nerd Street announce $3.5k LAN series
Adding the the atmosphere of excitement in North America following the release of Counter-Strike 2, Nerd Street have announced their plans to hold a $3.5k series of LANs across the country in the next three months. Each of the four initial events will feature a scaling prizepool based on the number of signups, and allow up to eight teams to compete in the one-day LANs.
The first event, set to be Nerd Street's first CS event since August, and their first in Counter-Strike 2 is to be played out on November 5th at their main LAN venue in Philadelphia. The second event, which will feature a smaller $500 max prizepool will be at Roawn University in New Jersey, while the third and fourth event will run simultaneously in Denver and Fullterton, California.
