RZU replaces ReckMONSTER on Monstars
Monstars have replaced Ethan "ReckMONSTER" Serrano with Jeff "RZU" Ngo, Dust2.us has learned. The move comes as a result of ReckMONSTER's parents cutting him from playing CS:GO in order to focus on his academics.
Losing ReckMONSTER will come as a heavy blow for Monstars, as the 16-year old player was their top performer in recent months, managing a 1.10 rating over the last three months.
His replacment, RZU is no stranger as he has previously played with the team's IGL shinobi on numerous occasions. Additionally, RZU played with Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce for around three months on Test Takers back in 2018.
As a result, Monstars are now:
- Ian "tex" Botsch
- Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce
- Mike "Swisher" Schmid
- Josh "shinobi" Abastado
- Jeff "RZU" Ngo
- Justin "JMaldo" Maldonado (Coach)
With a reformatted roster, Monstars will look to claim their first win of the season on February 24th against Oceanus.
