What to expect from Complexity v. 9INE

After a month of playing Counter-Strike in North America, Complexity are back to international duties, kicking off their ESL Pro League Season 18 against 9INE. The Poles are not going through a good moment after coming back from the Summer break, same as Complexity, who have found good regional success but are struggling to be consistent on the world stage.

Complexity = Complex + Consistency

There seems to be no doubt in regards to Complexity's status as the #1 team in North America, ever since Liquid decided to pivot towards Europe. The team, during their stay in NA, only lost maps against Forsaken, three to be exact, asserting their dominance. During international events, however, the competition is tougher. Complexity's last victorious maps came against NIP, during BLAST Premier Fall Groups, in July. This is a good opportunity for Complexity to gain some confidence with a win today.

9INE hundred days of Summer

Long gone are the days of their Europe RMR B run, where they defeated G2, BIG, and Vitality to secure a Legends stage spot in the BLAST.tv Paris Major. After that major and the Summer break, the team has been slowly losing popularity, like a never-ending Summer. With some good wins here and there, they haven't been able to be consistently good. A series against an inconsistent opponent might kickstart them back to life.
