Report: hallzerk receives US visa decision
Sources have informed Dust2.us that Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli has finally heard back from the United States regarding his visa status and entry into the country. The Complexity AWPer has faced a long battle with immigration officials dating back to the 2023 BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR and even in the days following his signing by the Cowboys organization.
All of this appears to be put to rest as sources close to the situation have informed Dust2.us that hallzerk has been issued a visa by the United States and will be allowed to travel to America. This is a major relief to both the player and the organization as the AWPer's visa status has hampered the squad for quite some time.
hallzerk notably missed IEM Dallas and the BLAST Premier Spring Final in Washington D.C. due to visa issues. At the time, Complexity utilized former teammate Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek while the Norwegian was stuck back at home.
When contacted by Dust2.us, Graham "messioso" Pitt said "I can confirm that we've had a positive update on Håkon's visa application and we could expect more news as early as this week on potentially having it resolved."
Complexity are gearing up at the moment as the next event for the squad will be IEM Sydney 2023 NA Closed Qualifier where they will play against Forsaken. Following that, the organization will fly to Malta for ESL Pro League Season 18.
