FPL-C Recap - NiSMO money, NiSMO problems
The second FPL-C week of January came to a close earlier this week, seeing New England Whalers' Marc-Andre "NiSMO" Tayar go undefeated as he secured nine wins in a row to take the top spot over Adam "WolfY" Andersson.

WolfY sat just below NiSMO as a result of winning nine of the ten matches he played over the week. Sixteen-year-old Bradley "Slugy" Kohler also made his first appearance in the top ten as a result of playing and winning four matches, with the Russian Street Party player also participating in an upset victory over Rugratz during the DreamHack Open Leipzig qualifier last weekend.
Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk played the highest number of matches this week at 27, although he ended the week in 17th as a result of winning just thirteen of those. Ramal "Rampage" Silva played the most matches out of the players who placed in the money at eighteen, while last week's first place finisher Malick "dangle" Abid had the highest number among those in the top ten at 22.

dangle's overall consistency over the past two weeks leaves him firmly in the lead for one of the two FPL spots as the third week of January gets underway, with Stefan "Lacore" Paunovic trailing by 90 points in second place. Rampage is not far behind as he resides just eight points below Lacore, threatening to steal away his spot on the board with plenty of matches yet to play out before the end of the month.
