NEKIZ finds new home
00 Nation have announced the signing of Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato to their roster to effectively replace Leonardo "n9xtz" Santos on the active lineup. 00 Nation is still in flux. as the lineup is looking to be spun off into a new Brazilian organization.
NEKIZ was originally linked to 00 Nation following a report by Victor Porto and Roque Marques of Dust2 Brasil, back in late June. At the time, the report indicated that negotiations between the two were at an advanced stage. It also followed a report that João "felps" Vasconcellos rejected offers by 00 Nation into joining their lineup.
NEKIZ's most recent experience was coming back into the fold for paiN in the lead-up to their strong runs at several international LANs, including the 2023 BLAST.tv Paris Major where the squad was twice, just one win away from making it into the Legends stage.
paiN moved NEKIZ to the bench as part of a significant roster overhaul, which unfortunately seems to come at a cost of their IEM Cologne Play-In spot, which ended up going to Complexity.
