FURIA reportedly targeting second Imperial member

FURIA has been quite busy in the transfer market this summer, making waves with the expected departure of André "drop" Abreu, which was confirmed by Dust2 Brasil earlier this week. The player was informed by FURIA that he would not be part of the starting lineup going forward.

Dust2 Brasil have also confirmed that Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo has agreed to join FURIA, but Imperial remains steadfast in the buyout for the player. Right now, negotiations between FURIA and Imperial are ongoing, but an agreement is expected to be reached.

Today, Jairus "Foxer" Junior of Game Arena reported that another member of Imperial might be joining FalleN in his adventure to FURIA: Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes. Foxer indicated that FURIA have him listed as one of the potential replacements for the aforementioned drop. chelo and FURIA have not had a meeting to advance the deal, however there is interest in the player.

chelo has been one of the strongest riflers for Imperial since joining, posting a 1.12 HLTV Rating, a 1.17 Impact Rating, and a 71.5% KAST. The 25-year-old player was highly sought after upon excelling at MIBR and appears to be a firepower upgrade that might help FURIA contend for titles.
