timbermen add second Chinese player
Ahead of timbermen's final match of ESL Challenger League Season 45, the team made the surprise change of bringing in Dongfeng "Project90" Liu to replace Kyle "KEL" Murray in the starting lineup. The decision sees the organization-less team continue to tinker with their lineup after parting ways with long-time member Damian "droid" Boulware at the end of March.
Project90 joins timbermen after a difficult season for the organization-less team, with the team only winning a single match in their ECL S45 campaign. A part of that undoubtedly disappointing result for the team comes as they have struggled to find a fifth for their team, with the aforementioned droid, Jordon "jitter" Ruggiero, and KEL all making their way through the team in the past two months.
Regarding the addition of Project90, Derek "dare" Brown told Dust2.us that they added Project90 simply because he wanted to play. Unfortunately that eagerness did not translate into a win for Project90 and his new teammates, as they fell to EG Back 2-0 with Project90 posting a server-low 0.65 rating. This match was inherently low stakes however, as timbermen were already locked in to play Relegation based on their overall season record.
With Project90, timbermen are now:
-
Shane "shane" Dressler
-
Derek "dare" Brown
-
Wyatt "snav" Phillippi
-
Tianyi "Fr3nk1e" He
-
Dongfeng "Project90" Liu
ESL Challenger League Season 45 Relegation is set to start on June 9th.
