shinobi to spit bars with Rap Gang, Just Swing lose Winsum
Former Dignitas coach Josh "shinobi" Abastado recently resurfaced to help out Monstars as a coach. Now, the player will be taking his talents to fellow MDL side Rap Gang, Dust2.us has learned.
The move will see shinobi replace Bilal "SPAMMER" Ali, who announced he would be stepping down from the team for personal reasons last week.
With the change, Rap Gang would have the following roster:
- Justin "FaNg" Coakley
- Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak
- Erick "Xeppaa" Bach
- Brendan "Bwills" Williams
- Josh "shinobi" Abastado
- Anhduy "nguyen" Nguyen (Coach)
Interestingly, when shinobi initially joined Monstars it was stated he would be helping the team "until he found a salaried offer." It is unknown if Rap Gang, who are currently 4-3 in MDL, are in discussions with an organization.
Just Swing's roster continues to deplete as Dust2.us have been informed that Ryan "Winsum" Johns has stepped down from the team due to real-life obligations. This comes mere days after recent addition Matthew "nero" Seymour elected to leave the team.
While the team played their match last night with former member Jake "Dolzy" Amendola, a source close to the team has pointed to Nick "zeptic" Kaoud and Carlos "maazy" Bandle as the players likely to be tapped by Just Swing to replenish their roster.
Both players were most recently tied to Advanced squad maazy's money crew/Gorilla Gang before a plethora of roster changes transpired.
With the changes, Just Swing would be:
- Joel "jcrueL" Cruel
- Tommy "Axed" Ryan
- Adam "Ange" Milian
- Nick "zeptic" Kaoud
- Carlos "maazy" Bandle
Just Swing are currently 2-4 in MDL, with their only wins coming by virtue of ATK and New Identity (now Singularity) leaving the league.
Despite a .500 record in MDL, Big Frames have also had a roster change come through, with Jacob "L0NER" Webster stepping down to a backup role.
Jimmy "Nurfed" McFadden returned to action for the team last night, though it is not known if that will continue to be the case:
Big Frames are now:
- Ryan "Church" Church
- Andy "devastation" Parr
- Liam "Welshy" Newhouse
- Abdo "c4lypso" Agha
- Nick "nylee" Lee (Coach)
- Jacob "L0NER" Webster (Backup)
As mentioned, Big Frames are currently 5-5 in MDL, and are also set to participate in WINNERS League Season 3.
Finally, Chad "Oderus" Miller has left the Peeker's Advantage ESEA roster. The former Spacestation sniper had recently announced he was open to offers, a sentiment which was echoed by teammate Taylor "Drone" Johnson and recently Mike "Swisher" Schmid.
Since then, the team have mostly been pugging it out, getting some assistance from Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen and coach Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg.
Peeker's Advantage currently have the following pool of players on their ESEA roster:
- Taylor "Drone" Johnson
- Stephen "reltuC" Cutler
- Mike "Swisher" Schmid
- David "DAVEY" Stafford
- Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg
- Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen
Former member Noah "ULTRA" Giesbrecht also remains on the team's roster, but has not played any matches since stepping down from the team at the end of September. Peeker's Advantage are currently 2-7 in MDL.
