Divine cut Sneaky; add roca
Just four hours after qualifying for the DreamHack Masters Malmö Closed Qualifier, David "Sneaky" Polster took to Twitter to announce that he had been removed from Divine. Divine had overcome the likes of oNe, with Caike "caike" Costa standing in for an ill Victor "iDk" Torraca, in their 5th-6th place best-of-one decider match to reach the Closed Qualifier.
Taking his place will be Daniel "roca" Gustaferri, who will resume headshotting and such following his leave from Peeker's Advantage back in August.
When asked about the reasoning behind the sudden change, team captain Alex "zander" Diaz told Dust2.us:
Some things adding up over time. I wanted to pick up roca when he first got cut, but he went on vacation when he could've tried out. Kinda random since were winning things consistently but I feel like with roca well be even more consistent and have a better flow with role.
Divine moves forwards with:
- Joshua "Hunter" Madore
- Alex "zander" Diaz
- Erik "bul" Penny
- Tyler "tweiss" Weiss
- Daniel "roca" Gustaferri
- Sean "ashen" Yang (Coach)
The team will be utilizing roca's talents tonight for a place in Malmö against Envy, as well as against Riot Squad in the ECS Season 8 Pinnacle Cup. Divine will also be participating in MDL Season 32, with their first matchups yet to be scheduled.
