Twistzz was an integral component for FaZe's success in EPL playoffs

NA's hero: Twistzz's Top 5 EPL Playoff highlights

En route to strengthening his title as NA's most decorated player, Twistzz racked up some impressive clips.

Earlier today, FaZe completed their run in the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 17, securing themselves both the event win and the grand prize of the fourth installment of the Intel Grand Slam. Following this impressive win, Canadian rifler Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken made history by being the only player in CS:GO history to secure two Intel Grand Slam prizes. In celebration of Twistzz's monumental achievement, Dust2.us have collected some of the Canadian's top plays in the playoffs of EPL that got his squad one step closer to the grand prize.

#5: Low-time 1v2 clutch vs FORZE on Inferno

As FORZE looked to tie up the first map of the quarterfinal game 6-6, Twistzz managed to work his way through the gaps in the defense to clutch out the round for his squad with only fifteen seconds remaining, keeping the Russian squad at bay on FaZe's map pick.

#4: 1v2 clutch vs Cloud9 on Overpass

With Cloud9 and FaZe being neck and neck on the former squad's map pick in the first map of the BO5 final, Twistzz secured a 1v2 clutch to allow his team to tie up the scoreline, giving them the fuel to win out the half.

# 3: 4k spraydown vs FORZE on Inferno

Although FaZe anticipated FORZE's late B site attack on Inferno, Finn "karrigan Andersen and Håvard "rain" Nygaard were unable to put a halt to the Russian squad's offense. With reinforcements far away, Twistzz pulled off a tight quad-kill spraydown to tie up the first map of the quarterfinal 13-13.

# 2: 4k to breach the B site vs NAVI on Mirage

After losing two of his teammates in the initial portion of the B site attack against NAVI, Twistzz cracked open the bombsite versus four defenders all on his own, breaking the Ukrainian squad's economy to put his team within arms reach of series point.

# 1: ACE 1v2 clutch vs Cloud9 on Ancient

Undoubtedly Twistzz's most impactful play of the event was in the grand final versus Cloud9, on the final map of Ancient. As Cloud9 sought to mount a comeback to drag the series to a fifth map, Twistzz broke open the A bombsite despite a 3v5 deficit, ultimately winning out the post-plant in a 1v2 situation to secure both the ace and series point.

While Twistzz will no doubt be proud of this historic achievement and the effort he contributed towards it, him and his team will now be shifting their eyes toward the next prize, the Blast.tv Paris Major. FaZe will begin their journey in CS:GO's final Major in a matter of weeks, as they are set to begin their RMR campaign versus OG on April 6th.
