CS2 will make its LAN debut in Malta

First CS2 LAN Match to take place
It hasn't even been a full week since launch, but we're getting some competitive action.
This afternoon, ESL announced a Counter-Strike 2 showmatch which will take place on LAN this Sunday just before the ESL Pro League Grand Final kicks off.
The lineups for the offline, zero ping, match have not yet been set, but will probably feature players from teams from ESL Pro League Season 17 that have already been eliminated. With only Dust2 available to play so far in the limited test, that will likely be the map on which the showmatch takes place.
Unveiled on Wednesday, Valve announced Counter-Strike 2 through three separate videos which detailed the new features, new smoke mechanics, and map redesigns. The community has already been in a fervor searching game files for any hints as to what will come.
