Keyd Stars add KILLDREAM and SuupLexx
Brazilian organization Keyd Stars have announced the additions of Portuguese veteran João "KILLDREAM" Ferreira and Brazilian newcomer Mateus "SuupLexx" Miranda. While the team have not revealed who the duo are replacing, a report from Mais Esports has pointed to Denis "dzt" Fischer and Ramon "RMN" Toledo.
Keyd Stars re-entered CS:GO back in June, signing the ex-Imperial lineup which notably featured former Luminosity player Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves and early Brazilian CS:GO player Caio "zqkS" Fonseca. The team has struggled since then, finishing in third-fourth place in Gamers Club Masters III and ESEA Season 31 Open Brazil.
As for the pair of new players, KILLDREAM is likely most known to North American fans for having former SK stand-in Ricardo "fox" Pacheco and Giants for the past eleven months. This will be the Portuguese players second stint in Brazil, with the first coming with paiN in 2017.
SuupLexx, on the other hand, is virtually a complete unknown, having played his first match on HLTV a mere three months ago.
As a result of this change, Keyd Stars are reportedly:
- Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves
- Caio "zqkS" Fonseca
- Bruno "shz" Martinelli
- Mateus "SuupLexx" Miranda
- João "KILLDREAM" Ferreira
- Matheus "KAOS" Nicolau (Coach)
- Denis "dzt" Fischer (Inactive)
- Ramon "RMN" Toledo (Inactive)
This may not be the last change for Keyd Stars though, as according to a report by Lucas Spricigo at Draft5, INTZ are currently interested in Bruno "shz" Martinelli as a potential replacement for Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe, who has been linked with a move to MIBR following the conclsuion of the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.
