timbermen chop and change
Heading into the final week of ESL Challenger League Season 44, timbermen have made the decision to swap out Fern "intra" Hak for Chinese former Disconnected player Tianyi "Fr3nk1e" He. The move marks the first roster change to timbermen's lineup since Damian "droid" Boulware as a replacement for Dwight "Calix" Nguyen, due to the latter player being too young to compete in ESL Challenger League.
Damian "droid" Boulware told Dust2.us that timbermen had been on the lookout for a new replacement for some time, as evidenced by this tweet, due to intra having less time to commit to the game because of college. Despite being busy with college, intra largely kept his performance in the twilight months of his time on timbermen in line with his rating in 2022, posting a 0.94 rating over 25 maps in January and February.
Despite this, Fr3nk1e will likely be a welcome addition to timbermen as they look to up their firepower. Fr3nk1e ended 2022 with a straight 1.00 rating over the course of 92 maps
With the addition of Fr3nk1e, timbermen are now:
-
Shane "shane" Dressler
-
Derek "dare" Brown
-
Wyatt "snav" Phillippi
-
Damian "droid" Boulware
-
Tianyi "Fr3nk1e" He
Fr3nk1e will make his debut with timbermen tomorrow as the team face off against ex-Villainous in ESL Challenger League Season 44 at 08:00PM.
