Nouns qualify for Mexico RMR
Nouns bounced back from an 0-1 start to make the final 2-2 set, where they successfully took out ATK in three maps to qualify for the Americas RMR in Mexico.
Nouns were hit hard by ATK to start the exchange, losing on their opponents’ pick of Ancient. Nouns showed resilience in their reverse sweep, besting ATK on Overpass and Inferno to win the series 2-1.
The win put Nouns in a three-way tie with EG and oNe at 3-2, but strength of scheduling rules gave Nouns the edge between the three, earning them one of the final RMR seats.
Newcomer Edgar “MarKE” Maldonado shined bright in the match, leading his team in frags, ADR, and rating in their RMR-clinching victory. Nouns will continue their path to the Major in April at the Americas RMR in Mexico.
