EG critics, rejoice

Mix team upsets EG in BLAST RMR closed qualifier round one

EG's performance will have surely opened the criticism floodgates.

With the main team already under a microscope, the worst-case scenario for EG has come to life after losing to a mix team put together specifically for this Major closed qualifier. The loss to yur was headlined by 18-year-old Matthew "D4rtyMontana" Paplawskas and 19-year-old Ethan "reck" Serrano who were both pivotal in the upset.

After failing to qualify for IEM Rio, losing to a team of free agents to start 0-1 in the Major RMR Closed Qualifier has EG spiraling toward rock bottom. Fans and spectators alike can only speculate what EG's management's next move is after this disappointing result.

Less than a week ago, EG's main roster had to play comeback against mix-team Demon Time in the IEM Rio qualifiers, and after barely beating them, lost 14-16 to ATK to miss the Brazil event. They have seemingly not shaken their poor form from the previous event, carrying it into the Major RMR.
