ATK find out-of-this-world replacement
Earlier this week, Rhys "Fadey" Armstrong and ATK agreed to part ways, with Fadey posting a twitlonger explaining his decision to leave the team. He cited the stress of competing while being a student, maintaining personal relations, and being far from his home in South Africa. ATK were already looking for a semi-permanent replacement due to Fadey necessitating surgery for a broken arm, but now their new fifth must be permanent.
Confirming a Dust2.us report from earlier in the week, ATK has announced Saad "Pluto" Siraj as Fadey's replacement, continuing their strong international history. Pluto joins ATK from Vendetta, who have already filled the outgoing player's spot with Silas "silas" Marrufo.
Vendetta showed strong results early in 2023, earning a berth to the IEM Rio North American Closed Qualifier. ATK hope they can take some of Pluto's momentum and use it for their upcoming tournaments in ESL Pro League and BLASTtv Paris Major RMR NA Closed Qualifier.
ATK currently sit 1-0 in ESL Challenger League Season 44. Pluto's first test will come tomorrow, February 6th, as ATK is scheduled to play against Detonate.
