Singularity add Limpone as coach and analyst
Singularity have announced the addition of Swedish player Linus "Limpone" Wecksell as a coach and analyst. Limpone is most known for his time with GODSENT Academy, as well as the Tempo Storm SE squad that spent time in North America. The player is also the younger brother of long-time Fnatic member Jesper "JW" Wecksell.
Limpone had the following to say about what his role will be with the team, and how himself and current coach Jared "MAC-1" Schneider will work together:
My role in the team is to find as many areas of improvement as possible, but also finding ways to easily improve on those areas for the team. However, when there are important games coming up I will also review & prepare them for their upcoming matches with the help of MAC of course.
I get to do the fun job of finding flaws & ways to fix them, while MAC is the one who actually sits in practice every day making sure the team is on the right track, but it’s a good model because I think he’s doing a very good job!
Singularity now have the following roster:
- Josh "oSee" Ohm
- Cameron "hydrex" Kern
- Ryan "ryann" Welsh
- Ricky "floppy" Kemery
- Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman
- Jared "MAC-1" Schneider (Coach)
- Linus "Limpone" Wecksell (Coach/Analyst)
The addition of Limpone to the team comes after lackluster showings at the ESEA Season 31 Global Challenge and Americas Minor, as well as coming up short against FURIA in the MDL Season 31 North America Finals.
Next up for the team will be ESL Pro League Season 9 Relegation — assuming that the tournament organizer ever announce the dates of the event.
