Hysteria cook up some curry
Austin "RenZ" Dickman has revealed that Hysteria have added Rahul "curry" Nemani to their roster, replacing Jordan "jitter" Ruggiero who left the team shortly after their round of 16 elimination in the Advanced Season 31 playoffs. Additionally, RenZ said that the team were looking for a lurker to fill the spot recently vacated by Jeremy "Mundle" King, who stepped down from the team and CS:GO as a whole.
The team are also seemingly no longer tied to Final Feature, having only been signed until the end of the Advanced playoffs according to their announcement tweet. The team finished fourth in the regular season with a 12-4 record, but fell in the opening round of playoffs to Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien's absolute mad lads to be eliminated from contention.
curry previously stepped down from Front in the middle of the MDL season, and most recently linked up with Rugratz alongside David "J0LZ" Jolin and Erik "bul" Penny at the start of the month. When contacted by Dust2.us regarding the team change, curry had the following to say:
I think I’m going to enjoy playing with Hysteria considering they are people I hangout with everyday. However with Rugratz, I felt like the environment wasn’t stable once practice started with our five.
With curry's addition, Hysteria's roster looks as follows:
- Malick "dangle" Abid
- Austin "RenZ" Dickman
- Shawn "Magowi" O'Malley
- Rahul "curry" Nemani
The move also leaves Rugratz with the following four players on their starting roster:
- Joshua "Hunter" Madore
- Alexander "zander" Diaz
- David "J0LZ" Jolin
- Erik "bul" Penny
- Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
Hysteria are currently awaiting the start of Advanced Season 32, with the league season set to commence on August 26th. Until then, the team will have the opportunity to compete in a handful of online qualifiers, with dates and signup links available on the Dust2.us Calendar.
