Imperial confirms new coach
Imperial have confirmed the addition of Rafael "zakk" Fernandes as the team's new coach for 2023. The former 9z coach joins joins Imperial in place of Lincoln "fnx" Lau, after helping the Argentine organization reach PGL Major Antwerp and the IEM Rio Major.
The Brazilian organization announced zakk one day after confirming Fernando "fer" Alvarenga replacement by former MIBR player Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian. Imperial had made these crucial changes to their roster as they look to start 2023 off on the right foot as they look to qualify to the BLAST.tv Paris Major and overall improve from an underwhelming end to 2022. On the other end of the equation, 9z have also announced that Gustavo "tge" Motta, the team's former analyst, will be taking over as 9z's head coach.
