Coldzera books EPL Conference Spot
The Brazilian squad, which was shockingly eliminated 0-3 at their hometown IEM Rio Major in November, has bounced back and will be heading to ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference after defeating ARCTIC 3-1 to win ESL Brazil Premier League Season 13.
The tournament playoffs got off to a false start after Corinthians and their lineup disbanded in the days leading up to their first match. With little time to replace, the event would go on with three teams in Group A and four teams in Group B.
Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer proved to be the standout performer of the event posting a 87.3 ADR, 72.4% KAST, and a 1.25 HLTV Rating across 15 maps, topping the charts amongst all eligible players. His performances came as 00NATION were forced to play nearly full length in each matchup, with their only 2-0 coming against Sharks in the semi-finals.
In the Grand Final, 00NATION was taken aback on Vertigo thanks to a heroic performance from Marcello "MaLLby" Czarneski on 00NATION's map pick to give them the advantage. However, that was really all that was going ARCTIC's way as Epitacio "TACO" de Melo and his team stormed back, winning three maps in a row to secure the match and the tournament.
