Bushido Boyz flex on Big Frames to take GEXCon title
After two days of action at GEXCon, only three teams were left remaining in the $10,000 event.
Sunday started off with the second semifinal of the tournament, seeing Big Frames take on Kevin "Grave" Le's The Home of the Grave. It was a relatively straightforward affair for the top-ranked Advanced side, with Ryan "Church" Church and Jacob "L0NER" Webster combining to overpower the mix-team. For THOTG, only Main player Caden "arias" Allison went positive across the series.

This set the stage for a grand finals showdown between Bushido Boyz and Big Frames, with the latter team looking to to test their mettle ahead of Advanced playoffs and ideally MDL Relegation.
Things did not start off well for the Advanced side, as Daniel "picky" Milazzo led Bushido Boyz to a 9-6 lead from the T-side of Nuke. The situation continued to degrade for Big Frames, as after winning the second half pistol they surrendered the following round, ultimately leading to a 16-11 loss on the map.
Dust2 was more even, as picky and Jonah "JonahP" Pulice once more led the Boyz, this time to a narrower 8-7 lead at the half. Big Frames took the second half pistol on the CT-side, allowing them to jump out to a 10-8 lead, but they were not able to hold it as Bushido Boyz went on a five-round streak. The Advanced team would even the score at 14-14, but Bushido Boyz would take two final rounds to claim map, series, and tournament point.
