Slash will look to make MDL two seasons in a row

Just Swing add Slash; two new Dogs of War

Some final changes came in right before yesterday's roster lock went into effect.

With the ESEA Season 31 roster lock now in effect, the dust has settled, and we can look at some of the final moves of the abbreviated season.

Most notably, Just Swing have parted ways with Rank S top earner Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk, due to roles not meshing on the team. In his place the team have brought on another Rank S high flyer in the form of former Thunder Logic/Front member Chris "Slash" Petersen.

Just Swing's roster is now:

  • United States Tommy "Axed" Ryan
  • United States Joel "jcrueL" Cruel
  • United States Jakub "kuba" Matyskiewicz
  • United States Ryan "Winsum" Johns
  • United States Chris "Slash" Petersen

The team are currently 8-1, and in strong position for a high playoff seed.

Dogs of War have also had a last minute roster shake-up, with Anhduy "nguyen" Nguyen departing the team last night to assume coaching duties on Thunder Logic, and also having parted ways with Bron "bron" Mills. To replenish the roster, the team have picked up Corey "ChurmZz" Koch and Dean "Culen" Culen.

Dogs of War now are:

  • United States Kellen "Rascal" Cole
  • United States Keanu "DaneJoris" Reyes
  • United States Julian "hybr1d" Rivera
  • United States Corey "ChurmZz" Koch
  • United States Dean "Culen" Culen

Dogs of War are currently 6-5, with their next matches set to pit them against some of the leagues heavy hitters such as Collateral and Grizzlys.

Derek "dVeeN" Vander Veen has stepped down from iNTACT, and the team have brought on former SODMG player Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly.

iNTACT now have the following roster:

  • United States Rafael "clone" Singer
  • United States Adrian "recky" Golec
  • Canada Erik "bul" Penny
  • Canada Nassir "rugrat" Francique
  • United States Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly
  • United States Bryan "enemy_ht" Zalweski (Coach)

Despite the new addition, it looks like iNTACT will have to wait to utilize their new player, as nosraC is set to jet off to Haiwaii for a week.

In other assorted moves, Big Frames have further deepened their bench with Jason "jmoh" Mohandessi, with the player recently saying in a TwitLonger that his future is CS was "looking stale." Derek "desi" Branchen has also joined up with Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien's absolute mad lads on his alt account.

With the roster lock behind us, the team's will now make the final push towards playoffs, which are set to commence in just under a month.
