Liquid crush INTZ to meet MIBR in ECS Season 7 Week 5 finals
Liquid have claimed their spot in the ECS Season Week 5 finals, after pulling out two dominant maps against INTZ.
Starting the action on Mirage, after an initially strong T-side from INTZ, Liquid were able to recover their momentum and end the half slightly in the lead 8-7. Once they transitioned onto their T-side, Liquid pulverized INTZ's defenses, only allowing the Brazilian side three rounds before Liquid were able to close out map one 16-10.
On Dust2, INTZ started the half off by winning the first three rounds off the back of a flawless T-side pistol. However, once Liquid's economy recovered, they locked INTZ out picking up ten of the next twelve rounds to end the half with a 10-5 lead. Moving onto their CT-side INTZ won the pistol round again and were able to win the following eco round. After this though, Liquid's strong T-side helped the North American win six out of the next seven rounds to take Dust2 with a 16-8 finish.
