motm set to fill in for moose and eUnited
Ian "motm" Hardy took to Twitter last night to announce that he would be standing-in for eUnited at the upcoming second stage of ESL Pro League, should the organization be unable to sort out Kaleb "moose" Jayne's visa issues in time.
The tweet was shared by eUnited General Manager Dan "clerkie" Clerk and rifler Victor "food" Wong. According to a follow-up tweet encouraged by clerkie, motm will be joining the team at bootcamp later today.
motm has been quiet since his departure from Singulariry at the end of MDL Season 30, quickly being replaced in the team by Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman. He already has a connection to this season of ESL Pro League, as he stood-in for Swole Patrol back in December and helped them to secure the spot that became Lazarus'.
Should moose's visa issues persist, eUnited will field the following roster at the event:
- Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
- Edgar "MarKE" Jimenez
- Victor "food" Wong
- Anthony "vanity" Malaspina
- Ian "motm" Hardy (Stand-in)
- Armeen "a2z" Toussi (Coach)
The team's first match of ESL Pro League Round 2 is set to come against Cloud9. The pair of teams are joined in their group by Ghost — setting up a LAN showdown between brothers Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir and Austin "Cooper" Abadir — and the South Americans of Infinity.
More iminently for eUnited, they will be taking on MIBR later today in ECS Season 7 Week 4, after an upset 2-1 victory over NRG yesterday in which moose led the way for his squad.
