Andrew and co. were released by Limitless after a disappointing run in Advanced playoffs

Limitless squad to search for new home

Additionally, the team are on the lookout for a new fifth.

After falling in the first round of the lower bracket of ESEA Advanced Season 41 playoffs, Limitless have decided to part ways with their CS:GO lineup and re-evaluate their options moving forward. Dust2.us has confirmed that ex-Limitless intend to stick together with the exception of Devin "AtomiK" Ferrell, who has left the squad to search for individual offers.

As previously mentioned, Limitless dropped out of Advanced playoffs quite early following a 0-2 loss to Snakes Den and a 0-2 loss to X13 in the first round of lower bracket. The failure to make ESL Challenger League Relegation alongside the early exit is something of a bitter pill for a squad consisting of a number of experienced Advanced/former Premier players.

AtomiK told Dust2.us that he and ex-Limitless mutually agreed to part ways due to his role and playstyle being a poor fit for the squad. ex-Limitless' coach, Taylor "ioRascal" Hays, echoed a similar sentiment saying that AtomiK's busy personal schedule led to issues in the team that would be better filled by someone who takes his roles within the squad.

ex-Limitless are for the moment:

  • United States Dave "seziwana" Schrage

  • New Zealand Aidan "Feral" Wood

  • United States Andrew "Andrew" Burrell

  • United States Austin "Austin" Meadows

  • United States Taylor "ioRascal" Hays (Coach)

ex-Limitless will look for a new home before ESEA Advanced Season 42 starts in August. Luckily for them, Andrew "Andrew" Burrell told Dust2.us the squad are already in talks with an organization that is looking to field them next season.
