BHOP connects with stanislaw's team
BHOP has signed Disconnected, the Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz led team with a spot in ESL Challenger League (ECL). The news follows Disconnected picking up Brody "BeaKie" Kelly to take over the AWP role on February 22.
The Stanislaw lead team played under the esports gaming community center's banner against MIBR with no mention on Twitter of the signing or any other social media platforms, the only announcement was on the company's blog located on their website. Dust2.us has attempted to reach out to the organization for additional details regarding the sponsorship, however have not heard back at the time of publication.
Disconnected have had a disappointing run so far in ECL with a current record of 0-5. The signing comes as a surprise as the squad has yet to show much promise against semi-pro North American teams despite having such a renowned IGL like stanislaw at the helm. The team's struggles are surprising for many within the community as stanislaw's arrival in ECL was met with much optimism and hope that he would raise the skill level within the league.
For BHOP, this is their first step in CS:GO. Not much is known about the organization, which runs multiple gaming community centers around the US. The company does have previous ties to esports with its founder previously being a Hearthstone professional player. The announcement made by BHOP on their in-website blog, also stated that Jacob "SPERMY" Younan would be coaching.
It's yet to be seen whether the team will use this new organization as a basis for improvement, but we know that sponsorships in the NA scene should not be wasted.
