Gaules breaks 200,000 viewers for South American RMR stream
Gaules is one of the world's most watched streamers, famous for his relaxed style of commentating and interaction with his fans. He has gained rights to co-stream matches from Tournament Organizers like BLAST, ESL, and even commentated NBA games on his personal channel. He is beloved by many within the Brazilian esports community, with a passionate fanbase that would rather watch him over the extensively produced official tournament broadcasts. For other streamers, casting an open qualifier would yield low viewership however Gaules has the most watched stream on Twitch.
The team that helped Gaules reach this feat is the beloved Brazilian roster formerly known as The Last Dance, led by Brazil’s Major winning core of Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, and Lincoln "fnx" Lau, the team were recently signed by Brazilian organization Imperial Esports. The Imperial roster is rounded out by veteran Ricardo "boltz" Prass and former FURIA talent Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo, both of which required buyouts from their organizations.
With several Major winners on the Imperial roster, the community has driven towards Gaules' stream to get their first chance to see their team in a competitive environment. Imperial have won their first two matches of the day, advancing to the 4th round with only three match wins standing between them and a berth at the American RMR.
