Old Guys Club dealt forfeit loss against Singularity
Old Guys Club have been forced to forfeit the nine rounds they won in their match against Singularity last night. Despite losing the match 9-16, rounds that they won have been removed as a result of the roster only fielding one out of five players from their previous season's roster. In the event of a multi-way tie at the end of the season, the teams' round difference would be considered secondary to any head-to-head records.
ESEA rules state that a team must maintain a core of two players from the prior season for eight of the team's first nine matches to hold on to an ESEA roster spot. With Sean "seang@res" Gares and Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert currently in Poland for the IEM Katowice Major, Old Guys Club were only able to field Samuel "SileNt" Portillo from their roster from Season 29.
As Old Guys Club have already played against Luminosity fielding only SileNt from the previous season, the team were forced to forfeit any rounds they won in their matchup against Singularity last night. If the team continues to field less than 2/5 of their players from Season 29 in any of their remaining matches, they will be forced to automatically forfeit those as well, up to a maximum of four before the team is marked dead. After reaching out to ESEA, Dust2.us is able to confirm that the team was unaware of the situation and will be able to meet the requirements going forward.
One of the only remaining players on the roster from last season, Yazan "clowN" Ammari, has been offline on ESEA for the past five days. The team could also field either Mohamad "mOE" Assad or Abraham "abE" Fazli, the latter of whom's league fees remain unpaid, as both players participated in matches during the previous season.
Old Guys Club most recently played with Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and Keven "PLAYER1" Champagne, so the full complement of paid up players for the squad is:

Old Guys Club have just under four days to resolve their roster woes, as they are currently scheduled to go up against Win Scrims Not Matches on Tuesday, February 19th at 10 PM EST.
