Mythic Winter Cup 2022 announced with $5,000 prizepool
Mythic have announced their first tournament of the year with Mythic Winter Cup 2022, an online tournament running from January 21st-23rd consisting of eight teams who will fight for the lion’s share of a $5,000 prizepool. This follows the Mythic Summer Cup #2 where Party Astronauts defeated RBG 2-1 in the grand final.
The event is set to include four invited teams who Dust2.us understands to be: Party Astronauts, RBG, Eros, and ATK. The remaining slots will be determined via an upcoming online qualifier. The main event will feature two groups of four teams squaring off in a GSL best-of-one format with the deciding match and subsequent playoff games thereafter being best-of-three series.
In an unfortunate clash, the upcoming Fragadelphia 16: Chicago event is set to run at the same time as Mythic Winter Cup 2022 with its own $10,000 prizepool on offer.
