ex-Velocity revamp roster with trio
After suffering relegation to Advanced for Season 30 at the end of last season, the ex-Velocity roster have revamped their squad with the additions of Marcos "tacitus" Castilho, Ryan "Winsum" Johns, and Thomas "Axed" Ryan.
The players fill three spots that were left vacant at the end of MDL Season 29 Relegation, first with the departure of Austin "RenZ" Dickman, and most recently with the removal of Noah "ULTRA" Giesbrecht and Joel "jcrueL" Cruel. The team finished their MDL Season 29 run with a 7-12 record, resulting in them playing through MDL Relegation to fight for their spot.
The team's run in Relegation was brought to an abrupt and early halt as they suffered a 1-2 defeat to Masked in their opening matchup, going on to be eliminated from the competition in the first round of the lower bracket 0-2 by ETHEREAL
This means ex-Velocity's roster for the upcoming Advanced season consists of:
Lucas "fiziq" Blow- Bradley "crazylegs" Waddington
- Ryan "Winsum" Johns
- Thomas "Axed" Ryan
Marcos "tacitus" Castilho- Sean "ashen" Yang (Coach)
ESEA Advanced Season 30 is set to commence play on January 7th.
