autimatic named 17th best player of 2018 by HLTV
Cloud9's Timothy "autimatic" Ta has been selected as #17 of the HLTV Top 20. The American was a model of consistency for his team throughout the year, having either the top or second highest rating in an astounding thirteen of sixteen LAN events that they attended, including the ELEAGUE Major Boston, where they emerged victorious.
Unfortunately for autimatic, his consistent form was not matched by his team, which suffered mightily after their win in Boston due to numerous roster changes. After opening the year lifting a trophy, Cloud9 did not manage to duplicate the effort again.
With 2018 now behind them, autimatic and Cloud9 will hope to start off 2019 in a similar fashion to last year — though already face the prospect of utilizing Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro instead of the sidelined Maikil "Golden" Selim, as well as the impending departure of coach Soham "valens" Chowdhury.
For his bold prediction of a player who will make the coveted list next year, autimatic chose new OpTic member Ismail "refrezh" Ali, who stood-in for Cloud9 at BLAST Pro Series Lisbon.
