Report: dazzLe set to return to eUnited's active roster
Dust2.us has learned that in a reversal of the situation from last month, Will "dazzLe" Loafman is set to return to eUnited's active roster replacing Skyler "Relyks" Weaver.
The news comes as a surprise since dazzLe was benched on November 27th in favor of Relyks. Additionally, Relyks, was with the team for their pre-holiday bootcamp in Los Angeles.
In a Twitlonger explaining his benching, dazzLe stated that following the team's "poor" showing at IEM Chicago and DreamHack Atlanta the team opted to put "everyone on trial", and ultimately resulted in the team benching him. With this setup, eUnited were able to qualify to the IEM Katowice Americas Minor, but it now appears that further changes have been decided on.
This month has been particularly tumultuous for the eUnited organization as the team also cut their coach Jared "osorandom" Hartman following an inappropriate unsolicited photo he sent to graphic designer Sophie "Queeny" Liddell.
In his absence, eUnited General Manager Dan "clerkie" Clerke will be traveling to Katowice in his place. Given clerkie's lack of Counter-Strike background, this will raise eyebrows with two players riding the bench.
With dazzLe back in the starting lineup, eUnited's roster would look as follows:
- Kaleb "moose" Jayne
- Will "dazzLe" Loafman
- Michael "dapr" Gulino
- Pujan "FNS" Mehta
- Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
- Dan "clerkie" Clerke (Stand-in Coach)
- Brandon "Ace" Winn (Inactive)
- Skyler "Relyks" Weaver (Inactive)
eUnited's next event is the IEM Katowice America Minor which is set to begin on January 22nd.
When reached by Dust2.us for comment, eUnited declined.
