dazzLe confirms eUnited benching
Will "dazzLe" Loafman has confirmed through a TwitLonger that he has been benched on the eUnited roster. In that TwitLonger, he expands more on the processes that saw him get replaced by Austin "Cooper-" Abadir. The move was initially confirmed by VPEsports.com yesterday.
dazzLe's post opens by talking about the initial roster move decisions to be made by the team, which was to replace Skyler "Relyks" Weaver and Brandon "Ace" Winn and adding Pujan "FNS" Mehta and Cooper- at the same time. Due to the previously reported logistics of convincing Cooper- to leave Swole Patrol, this didn't happen. dazzLe stated "we knew we needed FNS ASAP as our team wasn't functioning properly," with eUnited then immediately putting forward steps to acquire FNS into the roster.
When the team decided to used Relyks in their upcoming tournaments, with Cooper- remaining outside the team until they were properly able to practice with him, dazzLe states that eUnited informed all of the players that they were all on trial until November 20th, which is when Cooper- would become a playing member. According to dazzLe, he inferred that this would mean it'd be him or Relyks leaving the squad, stating that FNS couldn't leave due to being "an integral piece" alongside only just being signed, and that Kaleb "moose" Jayne and Michael "dapr" Gulino were too good, stating that moose was "literally a god."
dazzLe was informed he was benched in a call between their manager and coach Jared "osorandom" Hartman, with the two stating the team had decided to give Relyks a chance to play his roles. "I'm not holding my breathe [sic] for my spot honestly," states dazzLe, before going on to say he felt he played well and was a key factor in the team's wins over the past few months, finishing with him stating he'll be "coming back stronger and better than ever." with a "c u in FPL" to cap it all off.
dazzLe was one of two original members of the team that joined Rise Nation back in May 2017 still in the active roster, meaning moose will be the final remaining member who stretches back from then.
With this confirmed, the eUnited roster would be as follows:
- Kaleb "moose" Jayne
- Skyler "Relyks" Weaver
- Michael "dapr" Gulino
- Pujan "FNS" Mehta
- Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
- Jared "osorandom" Hartman (Coach)
- Brandon "Ace" Winn (On loan to Swole Patrol)
- Will "dazzLe" Loafman (Inactive)
The next tournament for eUnited will be the IEM Katowice 2019 Americas Minor North America Closed Qualifier, taking place between December 12th-14th.
