IEM Katowice Minors set to take place in January
ESL have announced the dates for the upcoming IEM Katowice Minors, setting them up to take place in January 2019.
The schedule of the events are much closer than that of the FACEIT London Major, most likely to accomodate the third placing team playoff at the end of the event. As part of the scheduling, there will be two Minors taking place on top of each other, one early in the day and one late.
The Americas Minor will be in the second set of events, taking place as the later event over January 22nd-26th week. It will be immeidately followed by the Minor playoff for the third placing teams on January 27th
The dates of the Minors are:
- EU and CIS: January 16th-20th
- Asia and Americas: January 22nd-26th
- Minor Playoff: January 27th
The detailed schedule, including times, for the Minors are set to be announced by ESL at a later date.
Qualifiers for the Minors are still ongoing, with the next North American qualifier set to take place between November 10th-11th. The last qualifier concluded last night, with Mythic and oNe joining the closed qualifier team list. More tournament dates can be found on the Dust2.us Calendar.
