Report: Vision not showing players the money
Vision have yet to pay the salaries of some of their players from the last month, sources close to the team tell Dust2.us. In symbolic protest, the players have removed the Vision logo from their Steam avatars.
Our sources went on to say that the team's owner claims to be in the process of getting investors, but has been paying the team out of pocket and is running out of funds. This is an almost identical scenario to what we previously saw and reported on earlier in the year when Iceberg also failed to pay their CS:GO lineup (which went on to become Excelerate).
The original F1-racecar-PEEK roster turned down the opportunity to join BlackOut back at the end of June, choosing to sign with Vision instead in favor of a larger salary. Just two players from that roster remain on the team in Jake "kaboose" McDonald and Gabe "Spongey" Greiner.
During their time with Vision, the team have managed a first place finish at Toyko in Tulsa, were the runner ups in MDL Season 28 to Bravado, placed 9-12th at Fragadelphia XII, and won Cougar CS:GO Open at GEXCon. They are currently in 6th place in MDL Season 29, boasting a 6-4 record with losses to Bravado, Spacestation, Infamous, and Gorilla Gang.
Vision are set to play against Old Guys Club for MDL Season 29 later tonight at 9 PM EDT.
