NSG and Underwatch to host Academy event in Boston
Philadelphia-based N3rd Street Gamers have once again joined forces with Boston-based Underwatch to host a 16-team LAN event in the Massachusetts capital in November. This will be the second time the NSG Academy will turn up to Boston.
The event will be a stop on the NSG Academy series, and will hold a $4,350 prize pool and planned for 16 teams to take part. The tournament, entitled NSG Academy - Underwatch CS:GO, will be held between November 10th-11th at the Balance Patch Video Game Cafe, and will be a "turn up and play" event, meaning competitors will only need to bring their mice and keyboard to compete.
The two day event will start off with four groups of four teams competing in a round-robin format, before the top two teams from each move on to a double-elimnation bracket to be finished on the second day.
All information, including sign-ups, can be found on the lobby.gg event page, however as of publication all 16 spots have been filled, meaning interested competitors will need to join the waiting list to be in with a shot of competing.
