subtLe replace summit and a2z with els and tyfoon
The revamped Season 28 subtLe roster did anything but set the world on fire, finishing the regular season in 23rd, just barely above automatic demotion. This granted the team an extra lifeline via Relegation, but they fell short there as well.
Now, the team has made changes ahead of Season 29, Dust2.us has learned. Headed out of the team will be streamer Jaryd "summit1g" Lazar, and veteran Armeen "a2z" Toussi. Stepping in in their places will be long-time Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien collaborator Ellis "els" Clay, and Marian "tyfoon" Lesnic.
The subtLe roster is now:
- Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien
- Matthew "no_one" Congdon
- Sam "DaZeD" Marine
- Ellis "els" Clay
- Marian "tyfoon" Lesnic
The new subtLe core has already been seen in the initial qualifier for WESG Canada, under the mix name "up north". Joined by Kory "Semphis" Friesen and David "DAVEY" Stafford, the squad finished the first qualifier in third place, after losing out to the Ghost mix.
ESEA Season 29 is set to commence tomorrow.
