Fam143 lose 4sh0t and KLUMZ
A mere week after his addition, Sam "4sh0t" Mariano has parted ways with Fam143. Joining him on the way out is Toryon "KLUMZ" Kelley, who joined the team after parting ways with XFORCE in July.
Shortly after 4sh0t's addition the team began searching for a new organization as their contracts with Fam143 had expired.
The team has faced a number of roster woes over the past months, most notably with their disqualification from the FACEIT Major Americas Minor Closed Qualifier due to a VAC ban belonging to William "LaffyTs" Robertin. The team was also forced to field Liam "welshy" Newhouse at Mad City Chicago Open in May after Robin "Attacker" Leach — commonly known as Bogdan — dodged the LAN shortly before it began.
This would leave Fam143 with:
- Caleb "jaychancE" Davis
- Ahsan "draek" Ismailzadah
- Justin "NEX" McLellan
The team currently have no matches slated as they await the start of ESEA MDL Season 29, and will need to recoup if they hope to continue participating in upcoming qualifiers.
Long-time member and elder statesmen Justin "NEX" McLellan, who briefly occupied the coach slot for the team, is set to play the requisite eight opening matches of the MDL season in order to preserve the spot, after which he and the team will evaluate their options. The player has expressed interest in pursuing Fortnite as opposed to CS:GO.
In their most recent CEVO match, they were seen using Jack "JackZ" Zaruda, Colton "BASE" Musella, and Franciso "k1Nky" Alvarez. It is unknown if there are long term plans around these players at this time — and even if there are they will likely change tomorrow.
