Hentai Hooligans cruise through Open for the championship
Going 15-1 in the regular season and never dropping a map in the playoffs, the Hentai Hooligans made quick work of their opponents en route to a championship.
The beginning of the season actually didn't feature the Brenden "stellar" McGrath and Robert "robby" Brown duo that we came to see dominate the league later on. It wasn't until Hentai Hooligans took a quick 5-1 lead in the league, thanks to two forfeit wins, before stellar was introduced to the lineup.
Once stellar was in the roster, the team didn't look back. They would go on to win every map they played. The regular season went by without truly being tested, ending with a 15-1 record and #3 seed in the playoffs, and the playoffs was more of the same until the semi-finals. Playing Alone in the semi-finals was the hardest game the Hooligans had to play. Map one on Overpass saw the Hooligans win 19-15, and thanks to Alone player Spencer "Pugg" Moore and his 45 frags, map two was pushed to a double OT which the Hooligans would go on to win as well 22-18.
The finals would see the #1 seed BackStabbers play the red hot Hooligans, and in regular season fashion, the Hooligans walked away without breaking a sweat in a 2-0 victory.
The prize distribution for the 28th season of Open is as follows:
1. Hentai Hooligans - $2,100

The Hentai duo will be taking their talents elsewhere for Season 29 as the two were announced joining Vireo.Pro after the team lost Ian "1motm" Hardy and moved Rustun "Rustun" Lusk to the coach role.
