Na`Vi become final team invited to IEM Chicago
ESL have announced that current ESL One Cologne champions Na`Vi have been invited to IEM Chicago in November. They become the tenth and final team to be invited to the recently relocated $250,000 North American event.
IEM Chicago is another spot on the Intel Grand Slam, and assuming FaZe don't lift the DreamHack Masters Stockholm trophy at the start of next month, five of the ten invited teams will have a chance at getting closer to that $1,000,000 total prize.
This leaves the current team list for IEM Chicago as follows:
Astralis | BIG |
FaZe | fnatic |
Liquid | MIBR |
mousesports | Na`Vi |
NRG | Renegades |
Qualifier | Qualifier |
Qualifier | SA Qualifier |
Asia Qualifier | UCC CIS Qualifier |
The North American open qualifier for IEM Chicago is set to start on August 20th, with signups still open on ESEA's website. From here four teams will progress to the closed qualifier, where one team will join the line-up in the windy city.
