jasonR too nasty for Twitch; catches ban
Popular streamer and former professional CS:GO player Jason "jasonR" Ruchelski has been banned from Twitch. Since Twitch does not reveal the reasons for bans, and jasonR himself has not spoken out, the community is left to speculate.
However, the following clip has begun making the rounds on Reddit as the possible source of the ban:
The clip appears to be from this FPL match, which jasonR's team won, with the player in question top fragging.
jasonR joins the list of people such as Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett, Roy "StrongLegs" Ahad, Mohamad "mOE" Assad, and others who have received Twitch bans for potentially unsavory words as the streaming platform attempts to satiate the the complaints that it is not doing enough to create a "safe space" for users.
The ban will make it difficult for the streamer to earn money for the time being, though likely not enough to make him consider returning to the professional scene, which he considers to be a bubble. It will also see his over year-long streak of streaming come to an end.
It is not currently known when jasonR's ban is set to expire.
