AZIO look at Bibby for coach spot
Dust2.us has learned that former SoaR coach Teric "Bibby" Ingram was present at Tokyo in Tulsa 2 last weekend, where he coached MDL side AZIO. When contacted by Dust2.us, a representative of the team and Bibby confirmed that he has been helping the team, though no contract has been signed yet.
With Bibby as coach (though Matthew "mCe" Elmore described him as more of an analyst), the young SoaR roster that went on to become Dignitas triumphed over Rise Nation at the ESEA MDL Season 26 Global Challenge. Though the win sent the team to ESL Pro League, Bibby was given his marching orders before the season began.
Since then, he has spent time as a player with Dare Rising and The Gosu Crew during the current season, as well as a coach for Atmosphere, Etherian, and Armada. The latter two stops saw him reunited with Jack "xCeeD" Holiman.
The AZIO roster at Tokyo in Tulsa 2 was:
- Dave "seziwana" Schrage
- Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg
- Willian "shonk" Kittrell
- Frankie "NnyQuil" Miranda
- Trevor "FrostayK" Bandle
- Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
- Jordan "tryhard" Trabue (Manager)
AZIO finished the event in 3-4th, after being eliminated by eventual runners-up BlackOut.
The team are currently sit at 6-9 in MDL Season 28, with one further match left to play against Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien's subtle. A win would likely see them finish the season safely out of the relegation zone, a goal that is obviously desirable to the organization and players.
